The queens can be sent as either a parcel (with full tracking), or as an ordinary letter, dependant on which will be safest in the receiving country.
As we are limited to using the national mail service, or the (slow) courier service DPD, we prefer not to ship queens to southern destinations in the hot period from July 1st and until mid-August. Shipping in the hot period (30+ degrees) is possible, at the responsibilty of the customer – but we prefer to postpone shipping to periods with more ample temperatures, when possible.
Orders with a value of less than € 130,- will be charged with the actual shipping costs, orders worth more than € 130,- is shipped free of charge.
The prices listed includes Danish VAT, which is 25%.
The exchange rate is approximately 7,45 Danish Kroner to 1,- Euro
If you are placing an order as a company, please quote your VAT-number, and we will be able to do the invoicing without adding VAT.
Discounts: +10 queens = -10%. +50 queens = -15%. Bigger orders: Discounts will be agreed upon, based on quantity and delivery terms.

Available from late June and until late September.
Even in the most uniform breeding stock, there will be variation on the offspring of a fully tested breederqueen. Therefore we recommend, that at least a basic test on wintering and honey yield is made, before the first grafting is done. This might sound unneccesary complicated, but the outcome in the subsequent generation, will always be way better. A 5 to 10 kilo higher honey yield per hive is easily achieved with just the most basic tests done.
Buying just 1 single queen is like buying a single note in a lottery, which will never be favorable, eventhough this 'lottery' has a fairly high chance of pay out.
To level these variations, and to give you as customer the best experience, the minimum order on newly mated island mated queens is 3 queens.

Selected 2 year old breeder queens
Very limited numbers.
Please make requests well in advance.
2 year old queens are elderly ladies, seen from the perspective of a bee colony. They are therefore to be treated with the highest possible consideration. Do always introduce them in a relatively small nuc, who is absolutely queenless. Old queens and foreign bees is a tricky combination, so greatest possible care is to be taken throughout her life.
